Producers and Remixers can play an integral part on your road to success. A hit record always needs a good Producer to make and provide an acoustically professional package and can often re-work a song and/or track to take it into a completely new market. One of the main reasons an artist’s website is so important, when used properly, it acts as a one-stop shop. You can direct people to your website to listen to your songs, look at your latest photographs, read your biography and find more detailed information. Websites act as an electronic press kit for you, taking away the need to make demo CDs and print out endless press packs to send to record companies in today’s beleaguered industry. Fans of your music can visit your website and check out what's new. Since they know about your music, they are more likely to be interested in related products. Add a Flash music player to your site, a snippet of your songs with a ‘BUY NOW’ button linked to, say, iTunes and you have the possibility of fans buying your latest, just released track instantly. Buying a CD from a shop is so impersonal. Telling all their friends they bought the song directly through your website is much more personal and carries more weight. Having a website on your promotional artwork is a massive benefit too. DJs and Producers at radio stations can find instant information about you at a click of a button. Nick Raphael (Sony BMG) I have Known Andy Lysandrou and worked closely with him since 1997. We have had various hit records together including True Steppers Featuring Victoria Beckham & Dane Bowers, which Andy co-wrote, co-produced, marketed & promoted on his Ice Cream label before BMG signed it. He was also involved in Double 99 “RIP GROOVE”, the first pioneering UK garage track that paved the way for a new scene, taking an underground sound to commercial radio and chart success. Andy is quick to pick up on future hit records and has the ability to work a hit record from scratch, using his tried and tested formula, getting the right record to the right club and radio DJ's, which has worked many times. Hannah Liston (Artist & Songwriter) Hi my name is Mr Clayton Osborne and I manage a very talented artist named Hannah Liston. I first hooked up with Audio Music Star through a companion of mine who spoke very highly of them and their services. I sat down in a meeting with a nice young lady named Katie Walsh (A&R of Audio Music Star) and a man named Andy (CEO of Audio Music Star). They spoke and explained to me in detail what their company provides, what they can do for my artist, and me and what type of things they have done for other artists. To cut a long story short I left that meeting very impressed and I decided to use their services. They got started straight away, designing and printing up 400 CDs, plugging my artist's single to radio stations and club land, once a month getting feedback from well known dj's on their mailing list and sending it over to me via email along with how many times the song has been played on the radio. I must add that it was all positive feedback and it helped a great deal that the song is so catchy. We have had over a hundred dj's feedback and they are still coming in all across the UK. I saw a large progression in the first month of working with Audio Music Star and it only got better, we’ve been getting Radio Station Interviews with well known dj's which have all gone fantastic and we’ve also had a lot of radio listeners requesting the song to be played. The song is remixed by Crazy Cousins and it is a Funky House joint. I can honestly say I didn’t expect this all to happen so soon and I thank the whole Audio Music Star team for their professionalism and doing such a good job on the project. Underachiever (Artists & Songwriters) Whilst searching the net for a company that could help to promote our music, I came across Audio Music Star’s website. Having read through their considerable credentials and checked out their equally impressive website I initially thought that these guys were too good to be true, however after speaking with co-founder Andy Lysandrou (who answered my initial enquiry very promptly) I was convinced that Audio Music Star was the way to go. Not only did Audio Music Star take the time to listen to our music, they also gave us honest, constructive and professional advice on how best to promote our material and the range of services that they provided with which to do so. After helping us to choose the package best suited to our needs, Audio Music Star then set up a national DJ and club promotional campaign which included a BIG urban remix of our record by a named producer AND mail-outs and feedback to and from some of the biggest urban DJs and radio stations in the country. As a result of Audio Music Star’s promo campaign, our track ‘Only A Friend’ and the re-mix received HUGE positive feedback from urban DJs, stations and dance floors as well as extensive plays on urban radio station play lists up and down the country, especially in London and surrounding areas.
